Gardening Upgrades so far…

Our lives were so hectic with homeschooling, work, kiddos and living, our yard was neglected for so many years. The kiddos are grown, the hubs is retired (sort of-still working part time) and though I’m still working, we are beginning to make progress!
Last year we planted blueberries, peaches and apples plus put in beds for produce. We have a new asparagus bed, potato bed, and several beds for other things- depending on the year and what we need. This year is squash and tomatoes for fresh eating, sauces and dehydrating.
For the joy of flowers this year we pulled out some heavily snow damaged shrubs in front and replaced with Hollie’s and an azalea. Removing the old overgrown and damaged shrubs was a chore. Window boxes, impatient, bleeding hearts and a bird bath and adorable rooster 🐔 statue make this so pretty! 🤩 Can’t wait to see it grow and fill in.
Here are some photos of the work in front plus some around the yard. I wish I could post a video. The fountains sound so peaceful 🩷
